Budget and forecast for business and family

Look into the future of your money. And fix it before it is too late.

Budgeteer shows what happens to your cash, debt and equity months and years ahead, and an AI assistant builds and reshapes the budget from your own words. No formulas, no Excel, no week glued to a laptop.

Your first budget and a first look at the AI assistant are free.

The chart shows sample figures.

Step 1 — see it

Trouble shows up months before it happens

A regular spreadsheet shows what you spent. Budgeteer shows what you will have: account balances, debt, equity and the month you break even — for every period ahead. A cash gap that hits suddenly in real life is visible here in advance as a red bar.

Cash

How much money you hold each month

Not “on average” but by date: salary on the 5th, rent on the 10th, loan payment on the 20th. The Days view reveals the dip inside a month that a monthly table hides.

Debt

How much you owe and when it ends

A bank loan, an installment plan, a lease or a loan from a friend count as debt, not as an “expense”. You see principal, interest and the month of the last payment.

Equity

Are you getting richer or poorer

Cash minus debt — one line that answers the main question. Plus a separate mark: the month you break even.

Step 2 — fix it

Close a cash gap in two minutes, not in a week

It used to take three evenings in Excel: retype dozens of numbers, work out a loan, figure out what broke. Now you ask a question and the AI assistant tries the options itself: move an expense, cut a line, take a loan with the right schedule or prepay another one. And it shows what happens to your cash in each case.

  • Picks the loan amount, term and schedule to fit “payment no more than…”.
  • Works out prepayments: shorter term or smaller payment.
  • Moves and cuts expenses without breaking formulas and links between lines.
  • Changes nothing in your budget until you say “yes”.

Cash goes 184,000 negative in March. Suggest three ways to close the gap.
I worked out three options on your model:
A
Move the 220,000 equipment purchase from February to May.Lowest cash +36,000 in March, May stays positive. No extra cost.
B
A 300,000 loan for 12 months at 24%, annuity.Payment 28,400, lowest cash +88,000, 40,400 in interest over the year.
C
Cut marketing by 30% from January. Not enough: still −109,000 in March. Works only together with option A.
I recommend A: no interest and no new debt. Add it to the budget?

Any option can be opened as a separate scenario and compared on a chart.

Step 3 — skip the typing

The budget is built from words, not from hundreds of cells

Describe what you have and what you want, the way you would to a friend who knows finance. The AI assistant adds income, expenses, loans, variables and goals, links them with formulas and recalculates the forecast. If your budget already lives in Excel, just attach the file.

From scratch — in one conversation

“Build a two-year budget for a coffee shop: 40 seats, average check 450, 120 checks a day, rent 150,000.” The AI assistant asks a couple of clarifying questions and builds the model step by step.

From your Excel — in minutes

Attach a spreadsheet, a bank statement or a PDF. The AI assistant reads the file, sorts out groups and amounts and moves them into a live model. Excel, CSV, Word, PDF and images all work.

A live model, not dead cells

“Coffee purchases” equal 30% of revenue, revenue depends on the number of checks, checks grow 5% a month. Change one number and everything recalculates, with no broken references.

Step 4 — skip the searching

The numbers you don't have, the AI assistant finds for you

What rent costs in your city, what the equipment costs, current loan rates, what a cook earns. Usually that is hours of searching. The AI assistant searches the web, reads pages and documents, calculates from your files and puts the result into the budget.

Every number it finds is saved as an assumption with a source: where it came from, when, from which page or file. Six months later you won't wonder why the budget says exactly 150,000.

Find what a 60 m² coffee shop space costs to rent in central Kazan and current small-business loan rates. Put them into the budget.
I looked through rental listings and bank offers. I put into the budget:
Rent, 60 m², city centre150,000 a month
Small-business loan rate22–26% a year
Both numbers are saved as assumptions with sources and a date. Rents vary a lot, so I took the middle — adjust it if you know better.
Step 5 — compare

Not one plan but a whole set of possible futures

“What if revenue drops 20%?” “What if I hire a second stylist in March instead of September?” “What if I lease instead of taking a loan?” Each question is a separate scenario in the same budget. Created with one sentence, compared on one chart.

  • Base — your current plan
  • Optimistic — 15% more checks
  • Crisis −20% — revenue drops for three months

You immediately see which option survives a bad quarter and which doesn't. The decision is made on a picture, not on gut feeling.

Scenario comparison — equity
0crisis: negative from March to MayNovFebMayAug
Make a “Crisis −20%” scenario: revenue 20% lower from March to May. How much reserve do I need to get through it?
Step 6 — stop fearing loans

Loans, installments and leases are calculated for real

In Excel a loan is “two million in, a hundred thousand out every month”, and nobody remembers how much is still owed. Here a liability behaves like one: money arrives in cash, debt grows, every payment splits into principal and interest, and the remaining debt is visible every month.

Four kinds

Bank loan, private loan, interest-free installment plan, lease with a buyout payment.

Five schedules

Annuity, differentiated, fixed payment, interest only, free-form. With payments rounded to a round amount.

Prepayments

Shorter term or smaller payment — compare the interest in both cases with one sentence to the AI assistant.

Payment schedule in Excel

Date, payment, principal, interest, balance — exported separately for every liability. Ready to show a bank or a partner.

Step 7 — set a date

A goal is a date, not a dream. A rule is an autopilot, not a reminder

Set a goal — “a 420,000 safety cushion”, “a 250,000 espresso machine”, “pay off the mortgage” — and Budgeteer names the month you reach it, while the progress page shows how you are getting there.

Rules make the budget smart: “save 20% of profit every month”, “if cash falls below 200,000, halve marketing”. They fire on their own in every period, and their effect is visible right in the cell.

Espresso machine — 250,000reached in November 2027
Saved 96,000 · rule “20% of profit to savings”
Six-month cushion — 420,000reached in October 2027
Saved 70,000 · 35,000 a month

If you don't trust artificial intelligence

Good. That's why nothing happens behind your back

The AI assistant doesn't edit the budget directly. It prepares a draft, shows what will change and waits for your confirmation. Every number can be explained, every change can be rolled back.

A draft and your “yes”

The AI assistant's changes are collected separately. They reach the budget in one explicit step and are highlighted in the table. Don't like them — “Discard draft”.

“Why is this number here?”

Right-click any cell and see it step by step: the formula, a percentage of what, which edit, which rule fired. No magic.

History and rollback

Every change — yours or the AI assistant's — is recorded with the exact “before and after”. The budget returns to any past state exactly.

Assumptions with sources

Every number has an origin: your words, the web, a file or the AI assistant's estimate. Anything doubtful can be rejected.

For those who like to do it by hand

Everything you know from Excel is still here. It just looks ahead now

The AI assistant is an accelerator, not the only way in. The same table, the same cells, comments and colors. Everything the AI assistant does, you can do yourself, and the other way round.

  • Table by weeks, months, quarters, years and days
  • Groups with auto-sums and nesting
  • Formulas between lines and variables
  • Cell comments and colors, like in Excel
  • Export to Excel, CSV and JSON — with notes and colors
  • A view-only link for a partner, accountant or investor
  • Several accounts and transfers between them
  • Balance and expense structure charts
  • A budget copy with all its scenarios
  • Russian and English, light and dark theme
The main thing

Most plans don't die from bad numbers. They die because nobody ever ran the numbers

To start a business or get your money in order, you have to sit down, gather numbers, build a table and try options. That is a week of evenings, and that's exactly where it all stops. Budgeteer removes that week.

A week in Excel

  • Evening one: recall all the expenses, forget half of them.
  • Evening two: search for rents, rates and salaries.
  • Evening three: formulas. One reference shifted, the total lies.
  • Evening four: work out a loan by hand, get the interest wrong.
  • Evening five: a second option. A copy of the file where nothing adds up any more.
  • Weekend: decide it's “obvious anyway” and put it off.

One evening with Budgeteer

  • Told the AI assistant about the business or family in your own words.
  • It found the missing numbers and noted where they came from.
  • Saw the forecast: cash, debt, equity, the month you break even.
  • Found a cash gap, asked for options, picked the best one.
  • Made a crisis and an optimistic scenario and compared them on a chart.
  • Went to bed with an answer: whether it's worth it, when, and what reserve you need.

Common questions

Do I need to be good with spreadsheets?

No. It's enough to describe your situation in words. The table is there to see the result, not to build it.

What if the AI assistant makes a mistake?

It works in a draft and changes nothing without your confirmation. Every number is explained, every change can be rolled back. You decide.

Is it for business or for personal finance?

Both, with the same model: income, expenses, loans, goals. A coffee shop and a family with a mortgage are calculated equally honestly.

Can I show the budget to a partner or an accountant?

Yes: a view-only link or an Excel export with all scenarios, comments and a payment schedule for every loan.

In half an hour you'll know more about your money than in the last five years

Free and nothing to install. Describe your business or family to the AI assistant and see what happens a year from now.
